Preferred Contact Screen

Overview: The Preferred Contact screen allows the Agent to select their preferred contact method for how they are reached through kynect On Demand.

 

Steps for the Preferred Contact Screen:

 

1.    Select the Electronic Communication Preference.

2.    Select the Preferred Phone Number. Choosing ‘Alternate KOD’ enables the Alternate KOD Phone Number field and will only alert on kynect On Demand specific notifications.

3.    The DOI Phone Number field is read-only and is populated with the Agent’s phone number only if ‘Text only’ or ‘Email and Text’ are selected from the Electronic Communication Preference drop-down.

4.    The Alternate KOD Phone Number field allows the entry of a phone number for kynect On Demand specific notifications.

5.    Select the Preferred Email. Choosing ‘Alternate KOD’ enables the Alternate KOD Email field and will only alert on kynect On Demand specific notifications.

6. The DOI Email field is read-only and is populated with the Agent's email address only if 'Email and Text' or 'Email only' are selected from the Electronic Communication Preference drop-down.

7.    The Alternate KOD Email field allows the entry of an email address for kynect On Demand specific notifications.

8.    The Preferred Language field is read-only and populates with the Agent’s spoken language selections made in the Settings tab of Agent Portal.

9.    Click Cancel to cancel registering for kynect On Demand. If Cancel is clicked, an Alert pop-up displays with the following language: “Are you sure you want to exit? Your registration is not completed yet; hence you may not be able to participate in kynect On Demand. You can come back to this screen later to complete your registration.”

10. Click Save to continue with the kynect On Demand registration process.
